Basics

  1. Opens and saves .xlsx; imports and exports CSV.
  2. About 160 functions; formulas can refer to other sheets.
  3. Shortcuts: Ctrl+C, X, V; Ctrl+Z, Y; Ctrl+1 for formats; Ctrl+D and Ctrl+R to fill; Ctrl+Shift+L for filter.

Indian formats

  • INR(A1) shows an amount with lakh and crore grouping.
  • INRWORDS(A1) writes the amount in words. Select an amount and use the menu item "Amount in words" to put it in the next cell.
  • Use the GST invoice and budget templates.
